Driving directions from Hamburg city center
From the Rathausmarkt or Hauptbahnhof:
- Take Adenauerallee → Wallring westwards.
- Enter the A7 motorway at exit Stellingen (Hamburg-Stellingen).
- Drive northbound on A7 about 10 km until exit Schnelsen-Nord.
- From Schnelsen-Nord, follow signs to Norderstedt-Süd Industrial area.
- After 5 min, you reach Gutenbergring 13.
Total time from Hamburg city center: 15–20 minutes at normal traffic.
Driving directions from Northern Germany via A7
For travelers from Schleswig-Holstein (Lübeck, Kiel, Flensburg, Husum, Heide), Niedersachsen (Hannover, Bremen, Lüneburg), or Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Schwerin) — the A7 is your hub. All routes lead to A7 exit Schnelsen-Nord:
- From Lübeck: A1 → A24 → A7 Schnelsen-Nord (60 min)
- From Kiel: A215 → A7 Schnelsen-Nord (75 min)
- From Bremen: A1 → A7 Schnelsen-Nord (90 min)
- From Hannover: A7 directly to Schnelsen-Nord (110 min)
- From Flensburg: A7 directly to Schnelsen-Nord (130 min)
From the Schnelsen-Nord exit, all routes converge to the same 5-min drive to Gutenbergring 13.
Public transport: how to reach Park King
Park King is best reached by car — that is the entire concept. But if you must come by public transport (e.g., to drop off a vehicle for someone else), here is the route:
- S-Bahn: S1 to Ohlsdorf, then bus 192 to Norderstedt-Süd. Bus stop "Gutenbergring" is 200 m from us.
- U-Bahn: U1 to Ochsenzoll, then taxi or bus 392 to Norderstedt-Süd.
- AKN: Norderstedt Mitte, then bus 192 to Gutenbergring.
Total public transport time from Hamburg city center: 35–50 minutes. Self-driving is much faster.
Once on the lot — what happens next?
Drive into the Park King entrance (clearly marked with our purple signage). At the entrance:
- Stop at the registration kiosk. Show your booking confirmation (email or printout).
- Staff confirms your booking, gives you the parking spot number, and (if requested) takes the keys.
- You park in the assigned spot, gather your luggage.
- Wait for the shuttle — typically 2–4 minutes from check-in.
- Shuttle takes you to Hamburg Airport Terminal 1 or 2 in 4 minutes.
For very early flights (before 6 AM), call the hotline 1 hour before to ensure shuttle availability — even though we are 24/7, late-night staffing is reduced.
Tips for a smooth arrival at Park King
- Allow 15 min between arriving at our lot and being dropped at the terminal.
- Have your booking confirmation ready on your phone.
- Charge your phone: the QR code is needed for entrance.
- Avoid rush hour on A7 Schnelsen (7:30–9:30 AM) by leaving 15 min earlier.
- For very early flights (before 6 AM): A7 is empty, leave 30 min earlier.
