Step 1: Choose your dates and times
On parkkinghamburg.de, the booking widget at the top of the page asks for:
- Drop-off date: When you bring your car to our lot.
- Drop-off time: Time of arrival at our lot (allow 15 min before flight).
- Pick-up date: When you return from your trip.
- Pick-up time: Estimated time of return at our lot (after shuttle from terminal).
The system calculates the total parking duration and shows the price instantly. Daily rates decrease with longer stays.
Step 2: Select optional services
After choosing dates, you can add optional services:
- EV charging (free if booked here)
- Interior cleaning (from 25 €)
- Exterior wash (from 35 €)
- Tire change drop-off (from 50 € + tire shop fees)
- Fuel refill (fuel cost + 5 € service fee)
- Child seats in shuttle (free, on request)
- Key custody (free, recommended for EV charging or add-ons)
Add-ons can also be requested later via the hotline +49 15566 342957 if you forgot at booking.
Step 3: Enter contact details and pay
The system asks for:
- Name + phone number (for hotline and confirmation)
- Email address (for booking confirmation, invoice, reminders)
- License plate (for entrance kiosk and parking spot assignment)
- Vehicle type (small car, SUV, van — for spot allocation)
Payment options: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx), PayPal, instant bank transfer (SOFORT/Klarna), or SEPA direct debit. Processing takes 5–10 seconds. After successful payment, the confirmation email arrives instantly.
What does the confirmation email contain?
The booking confirmation contains:
- Booking reference number (e.g., PK-2026-12345)
- Drop-off and pick-up dates/times
- Address of our lot (Gutenbergring 13, 22848 Norderstedt)
- QR code for the entrance kiosk
- Hotline number +49 15566 342957
- Driving directions (Google Maps link)
- VAT invoice as PDF attachment
- Cancellation policy (free up to 24 h before arrival)

Modifying or canceling a Park King booking
Need to change your booking? You can:
- Modify online: click the modification link in your confirmation email.
- Modify by phone: call hotline +49 15566 342957.
- Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before drop-off.
Modifications (date/time changes) are usually free. Service add-ons can be added even on the day of arrival via the hotline. Free cancellation makes Park King a low-risk choice — even for last-minute trip changes.
Common booking issues — and how to solve them
"My credit card was declined" — most likely a daily limit or 3-D Secure issue. Try PayPal or SOFORT/Klarna instead.
"I forgot to add EV charging" — call hotline +49 15566 342957 or click the modification link in the email. EV charging can be added until drop-off.
"I want to change the license plate" — modify online via the email link, or tell our staff at the entrance kiosk.
"My flight was canceled within 24 h" — call hotline. We may still grant a free cancellation as goodwill in extraordinary cases.
